Orders & Shipping

All orders will be processed immediately, typically within 48 hours. We advise orders usually take between 2-5 business days to be shipped. If we don’t have the item in stock - our general lead time for most products are within 5-10 business days to arrive to our store in Torquay. You will be kept up to date with our order tracking system and email updates. We ask for your patience, as we are new business - this process will improve as we establish more streamline systems.  All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include a 10% Goods and Service Tax (GST). Orders will be processed in Australian Dollars (AUD). We currently do not accept payments in other currencies. We accept payment for goods via major credit cards (via Shopify payments), PayPal, Afterpay and ZIP. All your information is securely transferred through an SSL-encrypted connection.

 

ORDER AVAILABILITY  & PRE ORDERS

Van Market is a new business, the range offering of products we are supplying would require large investment and cashflow backed by larger corporations. We are a start up business and don’t have the luxury of keeping months work of stock ahead of future orders. We have setup a fluent supply chain, through local trade and industry wholesalers, therefore any order not in stock at Van Market Warehouse, can be ordered in within 5-10 business days and in most cases our suppliers have multiple stock as they supply the outdoor industry. This mean any pre-order should be within our Torquay store within 5-10 days, and we can either ship it/ or you can collect from our Torquay Store once it arrives. 

For this reason, you may be given the opportunity to purchase a currently out-of-stock product on ‘pre-order’.

 In some instances, there may be an item that is listed as ‘in stock’ when in fact, it is not. If this happens we will contact you as soon as possible to come to an agreement by offering you a refund, placing the item on backorder. Majority of our suppliers stock ample stock, but we also support smaller grassroot businesses that may only carry a small amount of stock as their businesses grow. We will contact you if shipping or stock is going to be any longer than 10 business days and will update/contact you to keep you informed. 

Pre orders for items out of stock is an option through the VanMarket online store. Since the COVID 19 pandemic there has been ongoing disruptions to the supply chain we recommend that you consider purchasing on pre-order. This will guarantee that you will be first in line to receive the product when it comes into stock.

We will provide an estimated shipping date on all pre-order products or items that are on back order or out of stock.  Please note that these dates are estimates and subject to change as todays shipping and freight industry is changing

SHIPPING - AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND ONLY

Your total shipping charges will be automatically calculated during checkout prior to the completion of your order.

 VanMarket shipping is managed through StarShippit, a third-party automated logistics platform software that intergrates with our online store. StarShippit allows us to choose from a number of carriers based on the speed of delivery and price of service. StarShippit also enables us to add cover protection to the shipping cost. This is automated to ensure we reduce human error, and ensure customers receive real time updates on their shipping. Australia Post, and other  well established courier companies which are selected via StarShippit.

For larger orders such as solar panels, batteries, and our range of pre assembled furniture kits, beds and sliding kitchen. The costs of these change rapidly. We may need to engage the services of a specialist courier delivery service. Courier and post delivery times vary and we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date so we recommend you allow plenty of time for your order to reach you, particularly if you live in WA, NT or other regional/remote areas. If you need an item urgently, please opt for Express Post at the checkout, if this is not available contact us at info@vanmarket.com.au and we can work out best freight option & cost to expedite it for you.

Unfortunately Christmas and New Year period is an extremely difficult time for shipping and postage. Delays are common and often outside the control of Van Market Pty Ltd. Please consider this for any orders this close to Christmas. We will do our best to expedite the process for our customers leaving into this period.

 

OVERSEAS SHIPPING

Currently we offer automated Australia and New Zealand wide shipping.

We can provide quotes on international shipping, Tariffs and taxes. Please email us at info@vanmarket.com.au

All shipping, taxes and customs fees are at the cost of the customer. VanMarket can assist in facilitating the service. Note larger items will be expensive due to weight & some products like batteries may be difficult transporting with local laws and transport limitation and restrictions.
